Cedar City half

Today we went to Cedar City to run a half marathon! Joe has ran it every year since it began. We brought a friend and so he let us stay in his family’s cabin in Brianhead. It was a beautiful place! We got here last night and went to check in and have the dinner they provided. It was so cold! We signed me up tp run it back in January.( Before we knew about having a baby.) So when we got there we asked them if I could just walk the 10 K with the baby. They all said that would be fine and so this morning we got all ready to be out in the cold. I bundled Grant up to high heaven and we boarded the bus. Just a few minutes later a lady came on the bus and asked if this was the one that had the baby on it. She then said that I wasn’t able to ride with the baby. I was so sad. So we left and went back to the car. Luckily I had the keys because it was freezing out there! We waited for Joe to get done with the race and then we went to Grandma Grape’s house. (We call her Grandma Grape because when my sister’s kids were little that’s how they said great. Also, she grows grapes!) Joe and his friend took showers there and then we came on home! Exhausting day! But oh so much fun!
