Steven goes to the MTC

Today we took Steven to the MTC. The day was full of lots of emotion. I will miss him so but I am so glad he's embarking on this journey to better himself and the lives of others. I know he will be the best missionary Germany has ever seen! We went to Provo to drop him off and we stopped at the temple to get pictures and to say goodbuy. We cried a lot and laughed a lot. He handed over his phone and keys to Dad and that made me cry. I tried to be strong and make joked to lighten the mood. It would work for the minute but then everyone would remember why we were there. It was hard to see him go and we drove off the opposite way. Mom has been morning it like a death of a child. She said when we got home that it did feel like a death of a child. She closed up his bedroom door even so she wouldn't have to see it. Oh, we also got to go to the Salt Lake Temple with him before we had to take him to the MTC! I'll post a picture of it too! Anyway, I can't wait to see what this missionary has to bring! I love you little Steven!
