Missionary Brother

STEVEN'S MISSION CALL!

My little brother Steven got his mission call on January 6, 2011, to leave March 2nd to the MTC to learn the German language to prepare to go to Germany on his mission for our church! We were all so excited! We knew he was going to get his call that day but I was doing my cousin's hair until after 8pm at the salon and Steven had already waited so long I didn't think it right to make him wait any longer. So he called me at work and I put my cousins hair on hold to hear him read his call. He started reading, Dear Elder Steven Spendlove... prayerful consideration... you have been called (as his voice gets higher and higher pitched and he reads faster and faster) to serve in the Berlin Germany mission!!!!!!! Screams and shouts, and Mom in the background going "No way! No way! You're joking! No way!!!" It was so amazing and I cried! I'm tearing up just reliving it now! He's such an amazing kid and I am so glad he's my brother! He'll do so well as a missionary! Love ya Bud!!!
