Joe ran in his 3rd half marathon yesterday. The race was in Cedar City UT, or as our nephew likes to call it, Cheddar City! It was such a beautiful day too! Joe's official time was 2 hours and 2 minutes. He came so close to the 2 hour point. He thinks that if there wasn't one bathroom and five people in line for the bathroom that he would've made it. While I was waiting for him I went to Walmart and got a notebook and started penning out our birht parent letter. It's such a hard thing to do because you wish it could be more personal and you are so afraid of saying something that could hurt the birth parents but you know you have to do it and it has to come from the heart. When I finished it last night that is the feeling that I got, that it came from my heart. Anyway, I made Joe this poster for when he came down the finish line. It was Cedar's first marathon so I was literally the only one there with a sign! But Joe thought it was cute and a few people said it was funny!!!
Joe got a job Friday!!! It will feel nice to have him working again. It's only temporary, but it buys us more time to find something permanent. He got an offer in Elko Nevada. We liked the job but realized that we would probably lose the house if we left so in the end he chose the job here. We're happy about our choice for now. I am so glad he has a job though!!!
We've been workin our butts off getting our house ready for our home inspection that is tomorrow. The house looks great! I can't wait for tomorrow. I'm so excited to get this process going! Well, we'll let you know how things go tomorrow!

This is Joe's new favorite room. The office/ craft room!
